May 2009 Dear Pastor Che and Harvest International Ministries, i've been meaning to write to you for about 6 months and i apologize for giving in to procrastination! i was at the voice of the apostles conference last fall in harrisburg, pa and pastor che prayed for me the night after he ministered, i think it was thursday night. during his talk he mentioned that he had an annointing for praying for women to conceive that were not able to. after he was done speaking i knew i needed to have him pray for me. at that time i was 32 years old and had been married for 8 1/2 years. we have never used any type of birth control. when i was praying about birth control before our wedding (24 years old) the Lord told me not to worry about it. now prior to this i had been a very rebellious person and i was very promiscuous as a teenager and i had contracted an std. the doctor said i would probably not be able to conceive. as a teen i didn't care and continued in that lifestyle untill i comitted my life to Christ at 20 years old. i never had any fertility testing done but i had made up my mind to go in january of '09 to figure out if in fact i was not able to conceive. i never had a peace about going the medical route, i just wanted God to take care of things b/c i felt that He had promised me that He would give me children, like He had for sarah and abraham. so after 8 1/2 years of marriage (and many years before that) and no birth control, i conceived the week after pastor che prayed for me!! i am now 7 months pregnant with our daughter, sofia grace. i want to say thank you!! thank you, pastor che for your obedience to the Lord and your walk with Him. i know it was His power working through you, but it is your obedience to His call that has blessed me and so many others. i have told everyone about how you have blessed me and my husband with this child. and it's been way past the time to thank you for this! thank you and bless you! |
